In this video I show how I flush watercooling components using the XSPC rad. IMO this method is the most effective way to remove all the crap left behind during manufacturing. If you have ever had your pump or waterblocks clog up, this is probably why.

Thanks for watching

  • Thank You Lazy Man! Picked up everything needed from Home Depot, just got done cleaning my EX360 and it was pretty clean to say the least! Now onto the RX240 and the rest of my stuff! Going to be cleaning all of my water blocks/rads using this method now, + a million to you sir

  • @Quicks1lvr Glad this video helped.....good luck with your build.

  • What can I say, you helped me again....

I was driving past a main road yesterday and found a broken fountain... i ripped it apart then and there and extracted the pond pump. What do you know, its a fucken beast. Im about to go buy a water filter and do exactly what youre doing

    TY LAZYMAN

  • @morph2g Cool...I always keep my eyes open too.....I just found a piece of diamond plate aluminum 4ft X 5ft 3/8" thick...what a find. Not sure what i will use it for, but I will find something.

  • What a nice professional video and very helpful! I flushed my Hardware Labs radiators with Sparkletts distilled water (not expired yet) and I guess I didn't get all of it out after sealing it up with threaded caps and a month later noticed this greenish blue crust that appeared to be growth of some sort, how could this happen using distilled water? It was still damp inside my radiators. Thanks Lazyman

  • @Systemlord30 Not sure bro....what type of coolant did you use in your loop....that way have been it as distilled water would not cause that. I always use distilled water in any WC'ing setups I do. Not a big fan of dyed coolants.

  • @BIGBOE133 you can do it, but there might be some metal particles and minerals in the tap water. you can run the water from the sink, but using a filter and a small fishtank pump is what I use

  • @BIGBOE133 Yeah, that would be fine..... as long as you are using a filter.

  • hey lazyman, is using tubing coming from a sink, to the rad, and then from the rad to the sink to empty it, is that good enough?

  • This is a great idea. Thanks.
