@814d937 The kernel you are using doesn't allow it, you would use 200 instead.

NEVER check set on boot, because some phone freeze up and reboot because of setcpu, and if set on boot isd checked, your phone is just going to keep rebotting over and over again, and the only way to fix it is to either restore to an earlier rom, or factory reset.

Just remember. To overclock, you need a custom kernel. Like mdj's unity, in my example.

I have my Samsung Captivate rooted but I never loaded any custom rom's or anything on it

So I was wondering if this would work on my phone just because of kernel what would you think?
