Yes, Everett says he performed Elvis Presley's "Blue Suede Shoes." Yes, "Blue Suede Shoes" is originally a Carl Perkins' song. I believe Everett was referring to performing the Elvis version.

Just like there is the Elvis version of "That's All Right" even though it is really an Arthur Crudup song.

Anyway, it's freakin' music. Everybody take a deep breath and relax. It will all be okay.

AMEN! God, I hate most of the shit that passes for music these days! Give me Rockabilly, and Surf music and "real" country like Johnny Cash, Hank Williams, Patsy Cline and take Fergie, The Black-Eyed Peas, Avril Lavigne, 50 Cent, etc. and throw them in the ocean with a cinder block around their ankles!
