Dude, you have got some serious skills! This is awesome and I have been watching this all week. How did you get the vocoder samples into your sampler?
Fantastic stuff, keep up the great work!

& finally the penny drops o_0
So this is how useful a sampler is :) Shows how clueless I am
What's the stereo sample time on the Akai S1100
I think my Roland SP-555 is 11 mono minutes depending on the quality
My Roland JX has a load of 44.1 khtz samples from the classic synths & drum machines. I never thought about creating backing beats on my sampler looper. It even has an infinite looper, roll & insane effects. The 5x 2GB memory cards I have will be full very soon. :)

Its slightly outta time when you bring the beat in at the start man

hééé!! it's cool !... the Akai S1100 was popular in the US early électro hip hop between 80-85.
in Belgium and UK; lot of musicians and dj-productors use it to create "ACID-House" and "New beat" with a lot of TR 909,TR 303,707....
Very interesting instruments of these oldschool mouvements.
Thankxx

The Akai S1100 wasn't released until 1990. Their first sampler (the S900) didn't get released until 1988. From 1980-1985, the only samplers available were Fairlight, Synclavier, Emulator l & ll, and Ensoniq Mirage, the next sampler in 1986 was the Prophet 2000 & 2002 by Sequential.
