For once someone in the Jewish community is waking up on this issue! I am so proud of him.

I'm an Arab American who's traveled to West Bank and Israel on several occassions, I disagree. It is not the Israelis fault that Arabs have blown up buses, cafes and markets killing thousands of Jews. This same warped crowd blames the US for 9/11, the Cole bombing or the bombing of US Embassies. The Palestinians have been given all sorts of options. They have been given billions of US dollars to set up a decent government but no. They have corrupt leaders...still want Israel destroyed.

This man is aptly named -- Braver-man. A brave man, indeed. There will never be peace in the Middle East and there will always be friction with the Muslim world unless we remedy the inequitable situation in Palestine/Israel.

Mark who? He blames the Christians for the Holocaust, and now he blames the Jews for problems with the Palestinians. Did it ever occur to him that Christians had nothing to do with the Holocaust, and that the Muslims are the problem in the Middle East? Muslims are only at the center of almost every single conflict in the world today, and it's not a coincidence. Over a third of Palestinians support the murder of the Israeli family in Northern Samaria -- which tells you something.

God bless you Mark Braverman for being the brave and honourable face of the jewish religion and people willing to condemn Israel's crimes and abuses against Palestinians ; although regretfully still a minority these Jews and/or Israelis are increasingly more outspoken and growing in numbers .

@Kees889 *facepalm*

A well presentedl comment on Israel's deplorable behaviour towards the Palestinians, put forth in a reasoned manner by a Jew with personal experience of the conflict and the underlying issues.

Thank you for being fair!!

Kees889 Mark Braverman stated that his grandfather was born in historic Palestine, a region controlled by the Ottoman empire where Christian, Jewish and Muslim Palestinians lived together in a multicultural society. At the turn of the century, there were just a few thousand religious Jews there to study the Torah. The Christian community was divided between Catholic, Orthodox, and a few protestant denominations. The Muslims were Sunni.
