There are some games that just deserve more notoriety. Practically no one knows about DARK LEGEND for the Sega Saturn yet I believe it to be one of the best games on the system! Known as OUTLAWS OF THE LOST DYNASTY in the arcades, Dark Legend originates from the same Chinese fable as BANDIT KINGS OF ANCIENT CHINA (NES), and SUIKODEN (PS1). That fable is called THE WATER MARGIN (rough translation).

  • THROWS FISH!!!! HAHAHAHA!!!!

  • @dogeymon83 : I know! This game has such quirky attacks!

  • @Caztro72 - I love games that make me laugh. There aren't many out there. I wish I could start a game label that makes very comedic games. Who's with me?

  • @dogeymon83 : LOL! I'm with you, bro! Try JJ And Jeff for the TurboGrafx-16. That game is Japanese weird and hilarious!

  • I have this video game for my Sega Saturn.

  • Thank goodness someone else knows about this game besides me! I love this 2D fighter!! Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • In Japan this game is called Suiko Enbu: Outlaws of the lost dynasty and the arcade version is different from the console versions. A great fighting game by Data East.

  • Hey good job on the review man- I had been looking at this one for quite awhile, now I'm sold. This looks like Street Fighter II but with weapons and better graphics- can't pass that up!

  • I also really enjoy this game. One of the first games I got for the Saturn. One time it glitched when the blue guy was doing his "jump on your shoulders and bite you" attack. I somehow escaped the attack while he was performing the move and he stayed suspended in air as he infinitely continued the move. I had the settings set to no time limit so I was able to pop in a VCR tape and record the scene. I forget what tape it's on but I am sure I will find it and upload it someday.

  • I love this game, I downloaded it on PSN when it came out. The characters are interesting, the music is awesome, and it has some interesting mechanics. Sad to see it isn't more well known.

  • Jj and Jeff huh. I have a gp2x wiz with temper. I'll look that one up and play it. I saw it on the virtual console when I had a wii
