@gravityclarity It wasn't frustrating. It left you guessing, it left you wondering. Too many movies are satisfying. The reason I loved this movie is because I don't know what happened in this one. I'll never know what happened. I can make up my one 'ever after' in my head for Thayer.

@gravityclarity In the beginning of the movie, when Amber is in the store, her friend (who is the clerk) tells her that Thayer recently died. He drowned in a river.

Teenage Dirtbag was so frustrating! Did Thayer die in the end or did he just fake his death? They should've been together. As a viewer, I was frustrated. But it was good. And I like the soundtrack too.
