yes.. that is a good idea... cuz my mom use to grab me from my pony tail.. ouch... i ran over her a couple of times too.. i was 11 when i learned to ride a bike.. lol.. yes i know is embarrazing.. but look at me now!

The back pack is for the handle. You grab there instead of the neck....
