Tripoli College, the British school I attended in Tripoli Libya. The clips show the action on Sports Day, held once a year, with all four houses competing. Also, there is a clip of New Tripoli College that opened up when Tripoli College was closed by the government. It gave us a chance to complete our schooling.

  • I was there between 78-80. My teacher was an old English teacher called Ms. Gold and an Indian Teacher called Mrs. Gupta. Sadly, Late 79, there was this Revolution Youth Propaganda against ENGLISH school so they shut it down and my father put us in Paki School. Sadly, I never fitted in there as my mentality had already been accomplished. I was the only kid in year 1 at Paki school who had shower everyday and brushed my teeth.

  • I remember all these photos, the beach, the city. Was 13 when I left in 1974!

Tripoli College was great! Anyone remember Mrs Crowdes?

    I was in Red House!!
