Saw 2-3 kites over my neighborhood on Monday, 2-15-10. Although I occasionally see them around, Monday's sighting was almost to the year that I'd seen a couple of the birds paired up. I've also seen pairs of the birds grabbing each other by the feet and tumble down through the air like eagles.

i think they might. the kestrel can but think of it like a bird. the airs not truly still, therefore, theres always wind.
