What to do when all files with .exe extension won't open

PLEASE READ: Many people are thanking me for this program. But I have to say, I DID NOT create this program. Ramesh Srinivasan was the one that created this magical program. I am just an ordinary computer techie that stumbled upon his cool program, found it useful, and decided to share it with everyone. So if you like it, go to Ramesh's site (below) and bookmark his site or send him a positive feedback! I am not going to take credit for his/her wonderful program.

This video will show you how to use a program I call "exe Fixer" tool to fix the .exe file association in the registry. I found the program along with a article on this problem here:

NOTE: I don't know if this works with other versions of Windows, like Windows Vista, because I believe the tool was designed for Windows XP. Use this tool on other versions of Windows at your own risk!

I did not code this program, but I assure you it works. Enjoy!

UPDATE: One user told me it works with Windows Vista too!

hi, I download the (exefix_xp)program to my computer already , but every time i want to open the file to run it in my computer, it appears a box which tells me that (to open this file,Windows needs to know what program created it). What can i do? Please HELP!!

@nubesensei10 check to see if the file has a COM file extension, like it said on the website. Enable file extensions to be displayed on filenames, then check to see if the filename has the COM file extension. Change it if it's not. Then it should work. Otherwise, I can't help much because I didn't make this program. Sorry.
