The only reason Rick Scott didn't take the money was because it was coming from Obama. He campaigned on an anti-Obama governor's office, and he realized that if the train was built, it would create jobs and make money, which would make Obama look good. Now the rest of the country is laughing at him. I moved from Florida to Hawai'i to get away from that asswipe.
Scott made an ass of himself, and he won't get reelected. HURRAY!!!

You can't post links in youtube comments - it's to prevent spammers from spamming comments pages.

I'm looking forward to a real alternative to flying.

@machoverspeed Give me a break with this crap. The problem is you making up bullshit and not being man enough to admit it when you are called out. Your lazy ass never looked up anything at all but you trying to claim it's on me to just trust whatever crap you make up or to read the entire federal budget. You're fucking a clown.
You're right about one thing though I would accept a citation from any major news outlet to back your claim up. Do you actually even have one of those?
-
@machoverspeed Also, you might want to look up something called "burden of proof" sometime. The short version is that the person making the claim is generally the one who is expected to dig up some evidence for it if they want to be taken seriously. The point being that I'm not going to research your bullshit for you. I'm just letting you know, that I know, you are full of shit. Not that I'm congratulating myself because it's pretty damn transparent to anyone.
-
@machoverspeed Now that you googled and located the federal budget record (for the first time ever, no doubt) you expect me to dig through some 10,000 page doc looking to see if the "facts" you made up happen to match anything in it. If you had actually gotten them from there as you claim wouldn't you have already done all this and be able to tell me exactly where it is? ...and honestly that's just the nail in the coffin of this preposterous bullshit of yours. Just grow up and admit your wrong.
-
@machoverspeed ...or it's possible that youtube doesn't allow people to post links in comments to prevent spam there genius. That's why I pm'd that other one to you.

@machoverspeed Yeeeash... Can't you just be honest and admit you made it up? How did you find out this data, specifically? Is it online at all? What's "the old fashioned way"? Did you walk down to capital hill and leaf through a paper copy? If it's onine in some gaint doc or something then can you tell me where to find that doc and can you tell me what page it's on? You're obviously just lying, you never looked it up anywhere and you are only embarassing yourself now by refusing to admit it.

@machoverspeed I assume total federal spending. Hey, it's better than the source you provided or more accurately didn't provide at all.
Yeah though, to get anything through congress these days though every rep wants money thrown at their state for votes. I'm not interested trying to force Texas to build any trains it doesn't want and I'm fine if Florida doesn't want them either. I think it's good Floridas gov had the decency to send it back if they don't really need rail.

@machoverspeed So you were pulling it out of your ass then. I did look some stuff up and though I didn't find anything specific to transportation, I found a list of Federal spending per tax dollar paid. The bigggest losers are New Jersey, Nevada, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Minnesota, Illinois, Delaware, California, New York, and Colorado. Half of which you will notice are in the Northeast corridor. Texas is a net loser also but just barely. The top gainer of our tax dollars is New Mexico.
