it was his favor on the poor people that he intervened..

but as far as him going against the 'war of terror' in swat valley and drone attacks, he would soon be labeled a terrorist and thrown in jail..he can't intervene in such sensitive govt matters and i support his decision..

The CJ intervens in many things that would be considered an executive decision in other countries usch as pice of electricity, price of sugar. And this drone issue where someone is deprived of their life without due trial which is unambiguously a matter of justice, he is silent?

The time taken by CJ is due to the fact that Nawaz Sharif secretly made a deal with Zardari that let Justice Chaudhry be restored but the other judges will also remain..uptil now the Supreme court was dealing with these puppet judges..

But now they are moving forward and the NRO and Musharraf trial are being reviewed..

as far as army attacking civilians, thats a govt policy which can only be changed when Imran Khan comes to power..

So Justice Chaudhry was restored in March 2009. It is now September 2009. What has changed? HAs the armed forces stopped attacking its own people? Has article 17 been eliminated?
