Warhammer: Mitternacht

After seeing DarkPhoenix7's Mitternacht video this song just got stuck so firmly in my head that I just had to make a video. This was originally going to be a Soulstorm fan trailer, but I couldn't get the damn Soulstorm intro, so we have this instead, which I still think would be better if I had the Soulstorm intro to use.

The mixing of Starcraft and 40k was actually not planned, but once I realized I was trying to make a video out of the whole song, I needed more footage, and I hit upon using the freaking awesome Starcraft: Ghost trailer. It came out really well, I think. The settings in both movies are similar, Zerg can pass for Tyranids (Starcraft is based on 40k, after all) and the Marines are even in similar colors to the Blood Ravens.

Two things:

One: Great job! Loved it. Enomine goes well with Starcraft/40k.

Two: If anyone notices the similarities with Warcraft/Starcraft and Warhammer, its because blizzard was contracted to make a Warhammer game. When the contract fell through, they ended up finishing the game off as Warcraft. That's why they are so similar. Just thought people should know. ^^

As for the music, it's mostly the simple fact that I cannot stand thrash and black metal. It just sounds like noise to me. I'm not bashing it; it has a following and people are entitled to their opinions. I just don't like it.

I'd say Warhammer is pretty dark. Of course it's violent. "There is only War!"

Are you talking about Bolt Thrower? That was interesting. But again. Can't stand the music.
