Get wired smoke alarms, get a relay, wire it up to an MS-2 (Any panel with FWR) and hook up a gms. That will wake you up!

Well the high pitched ones with the peizo horn don't always wake kids up so I recokmend banding the high pitched peizo and all detectors made with the squealer horn.
