  • ...the definitive recording for so many of us...speaking with Dr. Revelli twice in the space of 5 years preceding his passing, he was very kind and informative, very willing to offer help and suggestions...I really appreciated his forthright adjudication, and wanted nothing less...Thanks for posting these...they're priceless...

  • still Ravelli inspired me knowing what he had accomplished in his day. I did speak with a clarinet player with the director who followed him and who also worked under Fred Ebbs. Lucky old man.

  • I graduated Hobart High School, obviously many years later, and I never had a chance to meet him. Almost did in 1987 but he had to bow out because his wife was ill. DAMMIT!!!!!!!!

  • i am not sure who is better the eastman wind ensemble or this band...where did they get so many excellent players??..all sections are amazing!!! i am so glad i found this band..i am sure most or all players have excellent bands or members of symphonic orchestras around the world.

  • I remember playing this performance! As I am preparing students for the Marine Band Audition this coming week, I remember so well all the principals that Dr. Revelli taught me in my years with him. Truly one of the most influential musical influences in my life! Brian Bowman
