I just watched the Invasion of the Body Snatchers, and must say that the priest scene is really damn effective. Aside from just being creepy and creating a mood, it establishes that the body snatchers are already out and about -- the teachers encouraging the kids to bring home the plants AKA alien seed pods, the priest possibly being one... yeah. Absurd as it might seem, there's no denying that it's pretty fucking creepy.
