basically it is... one of the owners of Miss Jessie's has one aka The Silkner. It basically relaxes the pattern of the hair (does not permanently straighten but if left in too long it can permanently straighten). At our meet ups we're not there to judge one's decision but to enlighten and discuss the journey.
