  • i appreciate you taking the trouble to make this sort of video, it will save many people thousands of pounds

  • I have this watch, face says REPETITION MINUTES under the BREITLING logo. Mine has gold on the bezel at the 15, 30, 45 and 60 minute locations, gold hands, and gold LED text on a black background.

As the man says, it's a fantastic ultralight and accurate high-end sports watch.

  • Whoever says it isn't waterproof is dead wrong, I have one I bought six months ago and I wear it in the shower and while washing dishes and have never had any issues with water

  • @NiallatUTube I see your point of view, perhaps Breitling just doesn't know their audience well enough then. You're right.. Its not rocket science, its Horology. Perhaps they just don't know the business as well as us Youtubers.

  • @breitlingsource try to look at my point this way then: there are quartz watches out there with a GMT hand in addition to the hr and min hands. Therefore, it cannot be rocket science to produce a super quartz watch with a GMT hand. The only reason I can think of why Breitling has not produced such is that it could cannibalise the Colt GMT market. But Breitling ought to know by now there are people who would snap up a lightweight Breitling super quartz with a GMT hand in a titanium construction.

  • @NiallatUTube Well.. no I don't think you understand what I mean by "I have not seen one like this..".. I am referring to the base ETA thermal compensated quartz movements that they use in the quartz watches. I have not seen one with a GMT hand, which means that it might not even be possible to do it economically.

  • @NiallatUTube Possibly... but the price would have to be right. Making the Colt in Titanium would make the price considerably higher. The new colt line has just been completely redesigned... and not in a good way.

  • And re "I have not seen one like this..." that's the point! There's a gap!

  • @breitlingsource - I was more hinting at the idea of a version of the Colt GMT with superquartz, in titanium, and only slightly less flat having a deeper WR. I think that would be seller.

  • @NiallatUTube I think you'll be hard pressed a superquartz with two hour hands and all the functions above. I have not seen one like this... typically one would just use the second time zone on the LCD screen.

  • You mention the lightweight factor of the Aerospace. That is definitely a plus. That combined with the flatness of the instrument. Many quality watches, inc. titanium ones, are tall which makes them a bit bothersome with shirt cuffs and snagging in doorways, narrow spaces, etc. So definitely the Aerospace is the best quality watch that ticks all my boxes: attractive, super accurate, titanium, multi-functional, dual timezone feature, and comfort.

  • One more thing: there is a format of watch that is extremely rare to come by, and for which Breitling could fill the gap: a superquartz titanium GMT with the additional GMT hour hand. There is the Colt GMT, but it is available only in blingy polished stainless steel, and only as Automatic. I'd much prefer a lightweight Colt GMT in titanium with superquartz. Are you listening Breitling Co.? ;-)
