@Crisis7 Long story short, lad, AC5 takes place in the Osea and Verusa continents which became known as "the Circium-Pacific Conflict" (Sept. 27-Dec. 31, 2010) between Osea and Yuktobania. However, these two were tricked by the Belkan "Grey men". Belka seeked revenge against Osea and Yuktobania for defeating them during the Belkan War.(15 years ago) That's ACZero taking place only in the Osea continent and deals with Sapin, Ustio, Belka, and Osea. So much for a long story short mate.

AC3 takes the same place as AC1-4 in the continent of USEA. The setting takes 30-40 years after Ace Combat 4. I don't know much about AC5 and where it takes place however.

This game was awesome, but I played the US version first, learned years later all the plot and story and characters were cut off.

you answered your own question the fac that the US didn't get the same game as Japan which had four different endinds earned by the choices the player makes

Here's my "What IF": What if Namco re-release AC3 as an anniversary edition game same thing Microsoft did for Halo Combat Evolved with enhanced graphics and all. Most of you I'll bet want to have the 52 missions, anime cutscenes, the 5 alternative ending, Japanese/English versions in one game, and so on. I, on the other hand, want to play the game due to the "COFFIN" technology found in the ADF-01 Falken. Just trying to put a good discussion, not an argument.
