The ballet scene from the later half of Charles Chaplin's "Limelight". If I'm not mistaken, Limelight won some kind of award for Choreography and an Oscar for best original score in 1972.

In the bedroom scene of the ballet, the police officer is Charlie's oldest son, Charles Jr., and the other clown is Charlie's younger half brother, Wheeler Dryden (who also played the doctor earlier in the film).
Charlie's son, Sydney, also played Neville the composer.

I have always thought the male ballet dancer resembled Vaslav Nijinsky, who Charlie actually saw perform before Vaslav's breakdown. I've always thought Nijinsky's look, dancing and character influenced this dancer, but it could be coincidence.
