2009 NCVRW Theme

This 5 minute Theme Video was produced with funding from the Office for Victims of Crime at the U.S. Dept. of Justice and is available for public broadcast to promote Crime Victims' Rights. This PSA presents the compelling story Celebrating 25 Years of the Victims of Crime Act. Overall it portrays the relevance and strength of the 2009 National Crime Victims' Rights Week dedicated to celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the ground breaking Victims of Crime Act of 1984. The Victims of Crime Act not only created statutory precedent for Crime Victims' Rights but also created the Victims of Crime Fund or VOCA Fund which distributes millions of dollars a year in grants to victim service agencies throughout the country.
