Great Tribulation: The last 3.5 years

The last 3.5 years of this age is called the Great Tribulation. Scripture refers to this as a time of testing at will come upon the whole world. It's also called the time of Jacob's trouble. Christ called it Great Tribulation for God's people. He also said that He would return after the tribulation of those days and gather up His followers.

How can the Temple be built when the Dome of the Rock sits on the Mount Temple?

Richard, Everyone seems to forget about Gog and Magog encircling Jerusalem, then getting destroyed, allowing Israel to burn the weapons of war (military equipment fuel tanks) for seven years (Ezekiel 39: 9). The Bible says this will happen in "the latter years/days." (Ezekiel 38: 8,16)

I think this war, (Magog's defeat) all happens before the Tribulation starts. It seems logical that the Tribulation will start at the end of the 7 years of burning Gog's weapons.

@000Winter000 Thank you for your sincere inquiry. Normally I am speaking to people who are so wedded to their dispensational futurist traditions of eschatological interpretation, that they can't even hear the truth.

The 1260 day time prophecy is found 7 times in Scripture: Dan.7:25; 12:7; Rev.11:2,3; 12:6,14; 13:5. All are referring to the same time period. Futurists believe, falsely, that this time prophecy is somehow linked to the 70th week of Dan.9:27. But they are different prophecies.

@000Winter000 There is no such thing as a 7-year period of tribulation. Dispensational futurists get their theory from a misinterpretation of Dan.9:24-27, specifically, verse 27. Their "gap theory" fails to exegete the text properly, because they begin from the wrong date and decree of Artaxerxes.

@000Winter000 The "little horn" (Dan.7), "man of sin, son of perdition" (2Thes.2:3), the "sea beast" (Rev.13:1-10), and the "scarlet harlot" (Rev.17)...are all speaking of the SAME ENTITY. There is only one entity in history that fits ALL the descriptive elements of this antichrist.

*In order to properly identify the beast's "mark", we have to ask this Whore of Babylon what her "mark" of authority is. And she is more than happy to tell us.
