An exceptional piece of work from the BBC. Gazza exploded onto the World stage at Italia 90. After his booking in the semi-final against Germany, he knew he'd miss Englands next game which unfortunately for England turned out to be the 3rd/4th place play-off. During half time of our play-off game against Italy, the BBC played this piece about Gazza. I stumbled across it again after many years and thought that some of you out there may enjoy this trip down memory lane. Music was the superb theme from Local Hero by Mark Knopfler which, unfortunately, has copyright issues so if you want the full effect, you'll have to hum that to yourself whilst watching.

    Tried syncing it up with another YouTube video of Knopfler playing it live (where he often plays it slower). Made this video far more emotional than the original version ever did.
