Dr. Paul Halpern is professor of physics at University of the Sciences. He is interested in general relativity, which is Einstein's theory about gravity and the universe, as well as the history of modern physics. A resident of the western suburbs of Philadelphia, Dr. Halpern also likes to see how physics relates to culture and literature, and how society reacts to new scientific ideas. A prolific writer, Dr. Halpern's most recent book is "Colider: Search for the World's Smallest Particle."
