Not sure if this kind of clip makes any sense. Anyways, here are 5 different patches from clean to extreme.

  • honestly, this sounds really, really terrible. I am not trying to slag off or anything, but I find these tones are shocking. The Axe FX can do much better than this. Either it's the way you've set up the patches or it's the Verve 12MA.

Basically I agree. This was some time ago. Axe FX has made huge progress since then, and add some Redwirez Cab Sims and you're in tone heaven. Check the reply vid I am posting here.

  • Hey man sounds nice. Do you recomend the frfr powered monitor??

  • hm, I am the wrong guy to ask as I am back to guitar cabs. But anyways, for going FRFR I would probably recommend the Atomic FRFR which is just a bit more than the Verve.

  • @mongwobodine ...maybe its your speakers that are awful?

  • Cleans sound good, but not tempting me to drop $2000 for two of these. Maybe just the recording, but I prefer my Axe through guitar cabs.

  • love the "No Quarter"

  • Something went very wrong here. Some of the tones are clipping horribly. Probably wrong Drive/Master settings in the Axe-Fx.

  • If you dont mind me asking, what made you go back to cabs?

  • Damn cool. The Rectifier sounded a bit buzzy, but the others are amazing! More please.
