This explains:
Leftist ideology across the globe
The vanishment of phylosophy classes
The popular belief of global warming
And indeed, the election of Obama.

Oddly, I disagree with my "groups" so often, many doubt I'm part of that "group".

so is this how organized religion works?

@FumingPoliticalPunk it's a good thing we republicans dont do that :P

@default013 Its no dodge. And no its no split. Its shared equally.
-
@mr82769 So the 40% is equally split along party lines? Nice dodge.
-
@mr82769 I'll enlighten you - I was actually making a somewhat obscure joke (not that obscure for those over 30). Watch this YouTube vid and you'll understand: QlVWArmysic

@mr82769 You're right about that. I wasn't calling you stupid - but its OK, we all make mistakes. I'm sure there are people like that on both sides as well, but I'm also sure that there are significantly more conformists - amongst those who advocate for conformity.

@default013 Right but.... Wroooooooong. His comment was obviously meant as an attack against democrats (or... *siiigh*... "liberals"). My point was that 40 % on each side of the political spectrum vote the way they do because their social network does it.
It is always best to try and understand your opponent and his arguments before claiming they are stupid. I know it isnt easier but it sure makes you look stupid otherwise.
thanks Mr. Doren now I know how Obama got elected

@matt4787 well to be fair, some one electability is how they would appeal to different groups. Now if Ron Paul went up against Obama, he would win in a landslide, i am not even i Ron Paul supporter and i can tell you, he would definitely win.
