Angel: My Heartsong for Mattie Stepanek

Mattie Stepanek was a best-selling author/poet, peacemaker, and inspiration. He was a child who struggled with disease with great courage and dignity. His philosophy was "remember to play after every storm." He appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Larry King Live, the Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon, and many other programs. I was inspired to write this song a few years ago and record it, and I came across the recording a few weeks ago and decided to share it with as many as I can. I had the honor of attending his funeral which was hugely moving and magnificent.
