Cute dog! Say I bought this same camera in May and I'm still trying to get a good outcome from it . Right now I am using the provided Everio software and the videos look choppy when viewed on my computer even though they look great on the camera's monitor. Worse still is there is a big loss in picture quality when I up load to Youtube. Parts of the picture are blurry which is a problem you don't seem to be having. What software are you using for this?

it's more than likely your computer that's causing the laggy playback. HD footage is highly intensive and takes a top of the line cpu and video card to handle it smoothly.

you have to record in HD, then upload it in HD, then it will be available to view in HD. If you've done this, it takes a little while for the option to show up, high definition video is a huge file.

How did you get the HD button for youtube? I uploaded my video to Youtube using the included software but there is no HD button on the vid. Any suggestions?
