Hans says: One of my biggest impressions was, as I - like a little mouse in Rome, sat in the audience room (Zuschauerraum) and listened to him and saw him the first time in my life.
I've seen a lot of Pagliacci, especially in the monologue.
That was the greatest experience for me, that was the most beautiful voice I have ever heard and also theatrically, I was deeply moved.
I just use the whole morning, to calm down.
