This was a well written game!
Ataris manufactured in 1978 were playing up 4 sound voices at once with 128 colors on screen simultaneously.
Much better than an IBM PC at the time...until the early 80's!

there is a better way of doing it. rock back half a step and he starts to move towards you, then rock back forward and kick, followed immediately by rocking back half a step, just keep repeating.

I LOVED playing this game as a kid! My favorite ending still is when you go to mariko in a stance. If you get to close to her like that she kills you with a single kick! HAHA

The kicks sound more real in this version - like they really hurt - than they do for the Apple II version that I had. Which Atari is this?
