takes a while to understand the Andy and the And He bit but once you get there, this is freaking hilarious

For the dumb. 1. But he couldn't handle it = Buddy couldn't handle it. 2. And he went to pieces = Andy went to pieces. 3. How he came unglued = Howie came unglued. The DA's court dialogue is "replaced" in the beginning each time with someones name. Buddy, Andy, Howie. That is the humor here.

@ArcaneAzmadi That's because I am neither American nor British.

@AnotherKentPaul ...dude, having to explain it stops it from being funny, but the lawyer asked him if they lost Howie while flying over Macho Grande and the guy replied that he never got over (as in recovered from) his experience at Macho Grande. Given that the whole scene is based on that kind of joke, I'm surprised you stopped getting it right at the end.

ZAZ had nothing to do with the sequel, and they said they never even watched it... they should, because it's pretty funny. Not as funny as the original but still funny. Like this scene proves.

Can someone explain the last part to me? Why does he say he never was over Macho Grande?

Whoever wrote this scene is a genius; making something so simple so hillarious.

@bagooshxxx What about Albott and Castello?
-
"OH NO-O-O, Howie was a ROCK!!". Love the delivery of that.

@bagooshxxx Then you really need to try reading a book once in a while if you think this is clever.
FUCKING BRILLIANT!!!!!!! Some of the best "Word Play" writing Ever. To this day, I have not heard anything remotely this clever.

Absolute gold. One of my favorite movie moments.
@rustyspartner I agree this is better than Abott and Costello.
