But i must say he seems like a very scary person, something very dark and hollow about his mannerism.

The scariest thing about Adolf Hitler was that he was only a man. It shows us the ugly side of humanity, the things we're capable of. There's something eerie about seeing ourselves in him. If this was the only footage you had ever seen of Hitler, you would never know the atrocities he was capable of committing. Evil lives in the most seemingly innocent of places, from the racist old lady down the street who gives you candy, to the friendly warm-smiling homophobic politician.

@askjiir ok. harry truman ordered the destruction of all the civilians in Nagasaki and Hiroshima. But truman isnt considered 'cold and merciless'.  hitler was ruthless and murder is unjustifiable, but he was not as cruel as the propaganda machine portrayed him.

The man is cold and merciless. He ordered some unfanthomable crimes. Like the complete destruction of warzaw as punishment for the polish rebellion and deported the entire population to Auswitch and other concentration camps in Germany. Im talking all of the civillians here. You don't need to be einstein to realize that ain't right.

Difference is, he ruled a powerful European country, not some backward African state or Cambodia, thus causing irreparable harm to Europe.

@askjiir the deep scary voice added to the videos, the scary music, and the lies they taught you are responsible for making him seem like he was 'dark and hollow'. truth is, he DID NOT personally order the killings, was very caring towards animals, loved children, and was a vegetarian because he didnt want to harm animals. there are many leaders who were more evil than him.

He never wanted to father his own child because by his own standard of racism (idol-worsip of blond blue and pale white) he was not good enough to do it? Not white enough? He shot his own foot off. He was the victim of his own racism. But isn't it true that the measure by which you judge is the measure by which you are judged, by yourself at least if not by others? And whatever befalls you it is what your own hands (or mind or self-image) have sown amen?
