I just saw video shot at the Toronto Int'l Film Fest. Van Sprang seemed so humble when he talked about this role, said he was just playing Clint Eastwood. I love that. Real talent there......

Yeah i really enjoyed this movie though. It gave a cool twist on the "what if zombies could be tought to eat other things besides humans" I hope that George Romero comes out with another movie soon. If not i hope someone decides to make another great zombie movie. The last great one to come out was Zombieland.

@Tzelt24 I go ahead and pretend he was. It gives it just a little extra touch of awesome for the true fans. It would seem like a strong coincidence that he's looks almost exactly the same, and why wouldn't a rogue soldier like him end up defending the corrupt last city on Earth (or at least we always presume it's the last)? I've always wanted to see at least one of the previous Romero survivors turn back up somewhere, maybe he did too.

He was also in Diary of the Dead...but he played more of an antagonistic type character.

@sharkattack78 it was on the 2 disc special edition dvd which i happen to have. I have every romero ...dead movie on dvd and I like all of them
