This is the final cut of our 2008 48 Hour Film submission, Two Two Two Nine.
Nominated for Best Cinematography.
Nominated for Best of Chicago.
Ironically, I was nominated for cinematography but the screening version looked horrible. The transfer of our film, in comparison to the other films, at the Best Of screening was heavily compressed and low res. It looked as if it were shot using a webcam.
But the fact is....
I shot this in HD and then transfered it to SD Tape. So...the loss of quality should've been minimal.
So...for whatever reason...we most likely will not be back next year.
I hope that this new transfer will allow everyone to see this film with a "fresh eye."
