The Stray Cats are a rockabilly band formed in 1979 by guitarist/vocalist Brian Setzer (Bloodless Pharaohs/Brian Setzer Orchestra) with school friends Lee Rocker and Slim Jim Phantom in the Long Island town of Massapequa, New York. The group had several hit singles in the UK, Australia and the U.S. during the early 1980s.

  • I just asked if they made different studio versions of it, because I think there is another one that sounds a little bit different.

P.S.: Sorry, I asked in German because my English is a little bit poor, so ... just ignore my mistakes xD

  • No. This is the one and only studio version of this song. :)

  • Täusche ich mich, oder haben die von dem Song zwei Studioversionen gemacht??

  • lovely socks

  • Bobby Fuller Four Forever!!!

  • Two versions were recorded.

One around 88/89 as a b-side for Bring It Back Again.

The other one in 1992 for the Original Cool album.

  • @BorisMaric Actually you can easily find the other one on youtube. I think that is the more well-known. Youtube won't let me paste the link here, but you'll find it.

I myself would be interested to know why there are two. I mean, when each was recorded and for what album.

  • Actually Green day does a version of this song
