Back when I was in elementary school, around grades 7 and 8, I would spend my summers making crude cartoons with my dad's super 8 video camera.
Eventually, I wore it out, and all of my families recorded memories, going back from the late 1980's were lost.
Lost-until I found a cheap super8 on ebay and picked it up. While digitizing a bunch of old footage to put on DVD, i came across 3 of my old cartoons (sadly, I have no idea where all the others went, I had some great claymation and legomation videos)
I thought it might be an idea to post them up on YouTube, and share these old videos with the world. then i thought it would be fun to play around with my greenscreen, since I've been neglecting him lately.

wow those animations are pretty cool especially the 2nd one - nice job getting them converted to digital =P

thanks. the second one was my favourite on this tape, too.
I think I have the original sketches for clip 2 and 3 at my parents place.
if I can find them, it might be interesting to see what I can do with the images using today's technology.
the 1st clip is south park-style paper cutouts, and they were all thrown out after I finished.

Hey Kyle, I was waiting for that Lego one that you did a really long time ago, do you still have that one?

I actually have 2 Lego videos, one is a race, the other is a castle story that makes no sense at all.
They were both on the same tape as my plasticine animations, and I have no idea where that tape is. That tape has at least 5 clipps that I really want to post here.
