  • His points were valid, but I agree he shouldn't have interrupted as much as he did. But in a good debate this is normal and it didn't get out of hand IMO.

  • Schiff does need to learn to let the guy speak completely and then debunk him. That said I agree with Schiff's points completely. Increased labor-saving capacity isn't a theft from the poor to the rich. If it's becoming increasingly difficult for the workers to survive, it's because of all the spending and machinations of the Government. Unions don't make inflation go away, it's absurd.

  • can't tell what they're saying because they're both talking over each other

  • if you make a point....then you need to allow time for rebuttal....these people shouid learn to argue better....make a point and end it... dont ramble on and on...what bothers me is when people state something as though its gospel and then go on and on...when someone says something that is a lie or dead wrong...thats when you are supposed to say... no no you are wrong...

  • I agree with the comment about Schiff's stampeding. I just saw a recent one with Dick Morris where Morris after a few minutes just said forget it an hung up. This was a shame because Schiff's views were clearly superior to Morris' but the debate never even got off the ground. Hope Schiff can learn to tame it down a notch so he doesn't loose the incredible value of his message.

  • Good debate!

  • @9FINGA I don't agree. When Ron Paul made his presidential bid he was ridiculed by almost everyone but John Stossel. Since then I would argue quite a few people, even if only nominally, have come around to his message. I would argue the progress he's made, such as chair of the financial subcommittee, is because some people can have their minds changed and not everyone is stubbornly resistant to reason.

  • @MaurDL It isn't going to be possible to win them over. However, a guest does deserve a fair share of time with fewer interruptions.

  • @LibertyMike1 I actually think this is the same problem Peter had with his Senatorial race. He's a smart guy and interesting to listen to but he's terrible at connecting with people or winning over anyone that doesn't already identify with his message.
