  • 101 - air assault - helicopters

    82 - airborne - jumping

Once they're on the ground, they're both infantry. It's just how they get there (sometimes)

  • Seriously, I felt like I was a janitor most of the time on base.

  • how do you get into airborne school and right when you get out do you get into an airborne division? and arevthe steps to goin airborne put it in ur contract then bct then ait then airborne school....then wats osut?

  • its one of the toughest, make sure you want to be serious its one of the toughest duty stations in our army. but if its what your looking for youll love it

  • 101st in WW2 was Airborne. The Army has now made them Air Assault. 82nd is just 1 of the Airborne divisions but is more known than others.

  • Well, for one, the 101st, while good, is a leg division, while the god almighty eighty deuce is the only airborne in America's arsenal.

  • You have the 82nd Airborne and the 101st Airborne Screaming Eagles. Two different divisions.

  • The 82nd jumps out of planes and the 101st repell from blackhawks

  • Airborne all the way

This shows the good that is being done.

  • one is a air-assualt division. While the other one is a ariborne division, which is the 82nd Airborne.
