Morning 1; kids in Prospect Park

Morning 1 of my new HMC150 - a brief trip to Prospect Park with Dorian and Alandra, Starting to get the hang of Mac basics, including crashes; learning bits and bobs about filters and the camera; still wrestling with Final Cut Pro formats, but starting to get a vague idea of how it all works. Shot in 720/24p.

OK! I have this camera but the 24p looks fake! whats going on! why yours looks so film like!??

My video looks like its strobing with double images.. blur.. I hate fake 24p

Can you explain what did you do to the camera, are u' using a lotus, etc..

I have tried all the 24p setting 1080/24p 720/24p.. Just does not look film like your video..!! Maybe is the software I'm using that it is introducing blur..

not sure what to say - I did nothing special... literally just pulled it out the box the day before, clicked on 720/24 and pointed it at stuff.... What editing software are you using? What speed did you use in speed control?

I got the problem under control now! I can't shoot 720p/24p because vegas video only has 720p/25p LOL

What I did was rendered the video to 1080p/24p (23.976 3-2 pulldown) Flawless frames now. No echo image when panning or going up and down..

So I'm shooting at 1080p/24fps to edit in Vegas Video 9
