some problem here, plus the disk drive is making this odd grinding noise.

Well when i sent my wii in i got it back in about 3 weeks. they said i would lose all my data. but when i got it back every thing was there. i didn't lose a thing.

If you send it to them how much does it take for them to send it back and also do you lose all your data and channels?

I had it on my original unit. Returned to Nintendo for a replacement. The replacement unit how has the same problem.

Mine is doing it too. I've done everything to ensure the TV is not to blame. It's a real issue with the Wii Console. Although Nintendo admits it on the phone, They say the problem is not very wide spread. It kinda looks like it might be though.
Listen if your wii is doing this or is making wierd sounds,broken,can't read discs,etc. call nintendo they will fix it for free there number is: 1800-255-3700. i hope that helps.

it's not the game, it's the wii. last gen stuff btw did not display such odd noise in the graphics. if it did then it, most likely, was the fault of the console itself.
