Dude, you're supposed to heat it first, then mix it so it;s roughly homogenous, THEN eat it and make faces because it's still probably terrible, but maybe not AS terrible. I wouldn't know.

i wouldnt event eat what you just made.
i'm pretty sure you'll like it a lot better this way (if you feel like givin it another chance):
mix the natto first.
then add the mustard. mix.
add the shoyu. mix.
pour on hot white rice. mix.
enjoy.

immanuel oriental market, close to mcclellan. it tastes bad because it is fermented soy beans. i'm sure it would taste bad no matter where you get it from.
