Concerto for Piano no 26 in D major, K 537 "Coronation" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Produced by Bernd Hellthaler and directed by János Darvas
The autograph of KV 537 (in the Pierpoint Morgan Library, New York) has many stretches, such as the piano entry and the whole of the second movement, where the left-hand accompaniment is left blank. Mozart would have easily filled these in himself in performance, and it suggests a melodic and straightforward chordal accompaniment instead of any fancy counterpoint.
The rather pedestrian version of these missing left-hand parts you generally hear today derive from a 1794 first edition printing of the KV 537.
Godly.just take a note or add aq one and it would not be perfect as it is.

What a master. His touch is indeed so beautiful and such impeccable playing. Few realize how difficult it is to play such a simple theme so magnificently. Everything is exposed and in order to pull it off in the way he does in this performance he has to be fully present for every note -- nothing just played for it's own sake but with conscious intention.

Beautiful piece, amazing how I have never heard of it before, but it's just thrills me even more that I discover it now!

Maybe it suggests that Mozart wasn't sure of what it was to be because he had in mind something very elaborate, which he would prevail upon everyone when he played it.
