iTreadmill is a treadmill/pedometer app for iPod Touch & iPhone, that you can use to walk or run, indoors or outdoors, or run in place while watching TV like a real treadmill.

iTreadmill is the most accurate pedometer app with PocketStep technology, which provide amazing accuracy whether the device is in your pocket, hand, purse, belt clip, arm band, etc.
Get fit with the only treadmill that fits in the palm of your hand! Take it with you wherever you go so you can exercise anywhere, anytime. It measures more workout data than an expensive treadmill, and allows you to display any 5 at a time, how you want, with a quick tap of the finger. Simply dial in your target pace or speed and run to the ticking beat to stay on your pace. A great fitness app that you'll really use because it's simple, powerful, effective, and always with you! Works well to get in shape, lose weight, relieve stress, improve cardio fitness, train for a run, improve endurance & speed. Track your progress at a glance with the history table. • is this app free?

  • it's $1.99 on the AppStore and works on an iPod Touch or iPhone. Thx for inquiring, Let me know if you have any other questions.

  • I bought last night.............very cool app, but I'm confused about one thing. I have the iPod Touch which doesn't appear to have the screen auto-off when the sensor is covered. So, how should this be used to avoid the auto-dim and then auto-off? If it has to be kept on during the entire run/walk, then that could be a big problem for the battery.

  • Thanks for using iTreadmill!

The iPod Touch does not have a proximity sensor, so the screen auto blank is only for iPhones. Also, Apple doesn't yet allow apps to control the backlight, so for now you will have to dim the brightness before usign iTreadmill. the app uses white text on black background so that you will be able to see your data easily even when your brightness is turned way down. We have run iTreadmill for many hours when the brightness is turned down.
