@flirtyXteddy different people call it different things. The french word for fabric is "tissu," and since I learned from a French performer (Fred Deb), I call it that a lot. Often, people in cirque use the term "silks" because the fabric that was used used to be chiffon. Aerial Fabric Dancing is what I call it, but aerial silks works just as well.
So beautiful and fluid, well controlled and very expressive. 5 stars. Her aerial silks manuals are excellent. I use them I recommend them to anybody who learns this sort of skills.
i love this type of dancing/performance, its so pretty, im thinking about looking up some classes in my area, can someone please clarify for me, is it called aerial fabric dancing? id just like to make sure i dont search for something thats wrong. thank you!
I just ordered your books the other day. Very excited to broaden my silks vocabulary. Your movement is gorgeous and looks effortless. And I just happen to know that none of that was easy.
i am a middle school student and a circus comes to my school each year and i have done this for the past three years and it does take alot of strength and stamina but it is so much fun
@A2JDancer thank you!
