@kilakkm First off, "Hurt" is not by Johnny Cash. Secondly, I believe that Hurt was written to show a specific amount of depletion of emotion which would lack aggression as well as the shouting; Wine Red on the other hand is a little more up tempo. Personally, I think that the lyrics hold quite a bit of angst in them because the lyricist seems to be discovering that "the depth of beauty" isn't as deep as they thought it was.

The Yelling Is There For An Important Reason. It's The Point Of Getting The Emotion Across, And Portraying How The Song Makes Me Feel As An Individual And An Artist. The Song Isn't Supposed To Sound Anything LIke How "The Hush Sound" Play The Song. Honestly... It's Not Even Supposed To Come Through Your Speakers As The Same Song. The Lyrical Content And Respect Towards The Artist's Work Of Course There, But The Change Is What For Me Keeps The Song A Cover.

@Lionsdonteatlions Yes, but when we're talking about how something is sung, a cover of a song is sufficient. THe same as how this all started by talking about this cover. Basically, I want to be able to listen to a song without cringing, and I couldn't at this video/audio.
