  • It is possible to use lime over earth, although it is difficult. Check out the article at the broken up link (YouTube won't let me place a full link here) below for more information. Pull the CAP WORDS for the link.

  • It is possible to use hydrated lime with a little brick dust added. You can read about that on straw bale (dot com). Do a search at the top of the page for hydraulic lime and I think you'll find it. If it doesn't come up under that search term, try "brick dust."

  • We need the poor man's guild to plastering a straw bale wall. $40 a bag for NHL is to much for a hobo like myself. Is there a cheaper way?

    I've been thinking of finding my own sand, clay, horse doodoo, water, etc.. Is the plausible?
