As Notre Dame has strong Irish links I am presuming that Damsha Bua is supposed to be Irish. It would appear that somebody got the spellling wrong at some stage as Damhsa Bua means Victory Dance in Irish.
This would be pronounced as DOW-SA BOO-A.

Is that the entire band standing on the steps, or only the section leaders or seniors? Looks a bit small compared to watching them march in.

@5h3llf15h I am Canadian and I have had the pleasure of watching the concert on the steps before the 2001 Pitt game (and had a wonderful time watching in the stadium as well). Nobody does it better than Notre Dame...but don't count out Queen's and Western as something for us Canadians to be proud of.
