Monterey Bay Whale Watching

The Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary is one of the top places in the world to view whales, seabirds and other marine mammals, such as sea otters, seals and sea lions. Monterey's Old Fisherman's Wharf offers several year-round whale watching tour boats. Species of whale you may observe include Gray, Humpback, Blue, Fin, Minke, Beaked and Killer Whales, as well as Pacific White-Sided Dolphins, Dall's Porpoise, Risso's Dolphins, Northern Right Whale Dolphins, Common Dolphins, Harbor Porpoise and Bottlenose Dolphins.
