  • I went on the 2 July 2011 it was a lovely glorious sunny day must have fell lucky. Although i would have like to see the Dam on a day like this.

  • @daisy74242 The Elan Valley is a wonderful place as you've discovered. I've just uploaded another video filmed last week with water cascading over three dams.

  • I was there today but the water was low, shame would of been nice to see them in full flow.

  • WOW!!!!. The last time i saw the dams must have been summer 2005 or 06. it was so dry there was no water flowing over the top and the narrowest part of Carreg-Ddu was so low you could almost jump accross. Absolutely love the Elan Valley. such a great drive too.

  • Wales (part of Great Britain/UK) borders England so, yes, you're quite close! The map is on the page - look to the right and you can see a Google location.

  • The Elan Valley is in Mid-Wales (UK). I'll mark it on the map for you.
